Originally used as an industrial coating in large settings, epoxy flooring is now becoming popular in commercial settings because of its versatility, durability and beautiful finishes. With different colours, finishes, acrylic flakes, metallic pigments and ways of applying the product, epoxy flooring is a versatile system that can last decades when applied properly.
Epoxy application is a process usually involving multiple layers. A and B components are mixed together, and they begin to catalyze. The liquid is then applied to the floor and dries as a solid. Certain epoxy systems cure to an 8000 PSI strength meaning that these systems are stronger and more durable then most types of concrete. The end process is a smooth, beautiful floor that can last a lifetime.
